On November 23, over 70 medical staff and leaders gathered to attend “Mastering Crucial Conversations”, a leadership series facilitated by certified conflict coach Linda Dobson.
Participants acquired new leadership strategies, including how to remain grounded in the face of resistance, as well as a new dispute resolution model for managing difficult conversations effectively.
Participants appreciated the opportunity to practice what they learned using examples of conflict from their own lives, while connecting with colleagues during the event and the holiday social that followed.
This event is part of the Medical Leadership Development Program that covers topics nominated by our frontline medical staff and medical leaders to enhance their professional skills.
