Seeking 1 practice share partner, to join an existing family physician at this well-established 650 panel family practice. The clinic is located in a bright, new building in beautiful Port Alberni and is shared with two other physicians. Hours are flexible and some can be done virtually or from home, with the option of expanding in the future. There is a full-time PCN nurse in the clinic, shared amongst the providers. There is also a link nurse to help with the management of the most frail and vulnerable
patients.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in also doing ER shifts or hospitalist work in the community. It offers a better balance so that you can enjoy various facets of family medicine.  The friendly staff consists of 3.5 medical office assistants. The building is home to a pediatrician, pharmacy, holter and basic cardiac testing clinic, as well as a skin clinic, and acupuncture and massage. Next door is home to Port Alberni’s internal medicine group.  Overhead cost split will be based on the number of days in office.  Currently the overhead is split evenly between the three physicians, about 23% of income
