The Foundry Campbell River is seeking two part-time Nurse Practitioners. The NP position will support complex care for transgender clients, addictions care, sexual health and moderate to severe mental health. The NP will have access to other PCN resources like allied health professionals. This position will work out of Foundry and will be part of centralized HUB for specialized gender affirming care. There are other clinicians that support the care provision at Foundry.
Foundry Campbell River offers young people 12-24 years access to mental health and substance use support, primary care, peer support and social services.

Start date is as soon as possible.
Hours of Work
Expected number of days of work per year is 112
Expected number of days of work in a week is 2-3
Expected number of hours of work in a day is 7.5
Not expected to work statutory holidays.
The practitioner may take up to 4-6 weeks’ vacation per calendar year. The practitioner will provide advance notice of at least 2 months of absences due to vacations.
Additional description of work hours and days: part-time day-time office work.
After hours and on-call expectation: extending access to primary care from 1600-1800hrs
Overhead
The Ministry provides funding for NP overhead; the current available amount is $75,000 per 1.0 FTE.
