Update on vaccination requirement for health professionals
The provincial health officer is finalizing, in consultation with all health professional colleges, an order that requires all regulated health professionals to be vaccinated by March 24, 2022, to work in their occupation in British Columbia.

The drug poisoning crisis continues to devastate our communities
It's been nearly six years since the drug poisoning crisis was declared and this public health crisis is not improving. In 2021, there were 2,224 deaths caused by illicit drug poisoning in BC, a 26% increase over the number of deaths in 2020 (1,767).
