COVID-19 Vaccination and Young Adults in Island Health Region: Looking for Participants
The Vaccine Evaluation Center (VEC) at BC Children's Hospital and the University of British Columbia, in collaboration with researchers at Island Health, want to understand the perspectives and experiences of young adults regarding vaccination for COVID-19. The study is looking for young adults between the ages of 20-29 years living on Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands, or Discovery Islands. Participation is voluntary.

July 25th, during his first full-day in Canada, Pope Francis visited the Montana Cree First Nation in Alberta, where thousands of residential school survivors and their families gathered to witness and hear a long-awaited formal apology for the Catholic Church's role in the cultural genocide caused by Canada's residential school system.

Integrating effective self-care into our busy lives is a challenge, and we need to be compassionate with ourselves. When we're used to outputting high levels at work, it's also difficult to settle into downtime. But we can gently start by looking for compromises and solutions that fit with our energy levels. Keep in mind that your self-care doesn't need to look like anyone else's.
