Lifecare medical clinic is a family practice clinic dedicated to caring for patients and their family health with a view to improving health outcomes. The clinic is run by a sole family physician, with an MOA, and we are looking for a full-time family physicians to join our team. The new family physician would provide full-scope family practice full-time catering to patients from newborn to elderly. There is no obstetric care required. Clinic schedule is completely flexible based on the family physician’s needs. You will have the opportunity to work the way you want! The new family physician would have an opportunity to build their own practice - we have an established support from the coordinator of health registry of the Victoria Division of Family Practice. The clinic is setup for virtual as well as for in-person clinic visits. We are looking at incorporating the service of a social worker/nurse working with the PCN, There are 2 clinic rooms that would be available for the new family physician. Facilities close to the clinic include a pharmacy, life labs and west coast medical imaging which are within the building while Royal Jubilee hospital is nearby.

After hours coverage is provided by the clinic's membership in the After Hours Care Program (AHCP) pilot managed by Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC).

The physicians in the clinic would follow a collegial practice to cover the registered patients of the other during vacations and other engagements.

Clinic hours: 9 am to 5 pm
Lifecare medical clinic runs a family practice and walk-in clinic. The patten of walk-in clinic is determined but the respective physician who has complete autonomy in his/her practice. Currently in our clinic, for each working day of the week, we reserve few appointment slots for walk-in patients. The new physician will have the autonomy to design a pattern that would work for him/her including designating a specific day for walk-ins.
