Island Health is taking bold steps toward a more sustainable future with the launch of its Low Carbon Resilience Roadmap, a strategic infrastructure plan aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and 80% by 2050.
The roadmap was developed by Island Health’s department of Energy, Environment and Climate Change alongside key partners across the organization.

Together we are also embedding climate-conscious clinical practices through initiatives like Choosing Wisely Canada.
