The Department of Maternity Care and Pediatrics is pleased to host their annual meeting and educational conference September 27 and 28 this year in Nanaimo. There will be two full days of presentations and networking time with maternity care and pediatrics colleagues from across Vancouver Island including a special presentation by Dr. Brett Finlay.
Dr. Finlay, a professor of microbiology at UBC and Officer of the Order of Canada, will present his new documentary "Let Them Eat Dirt", and discuss the influence of our bodies microbiome on our health.
This conference is open to anyone who works in maternity care and pediatrics.
