Quality Rounds Are Relaunching February 19th

Quality Rounds are monthly events to share quality improvement and patient safety learning across Island Health. The goals of Quality Rounds is to:

  1. Provide an opportunity for Island Health staff and medical staff to learn and share projects, research or literature and evidenced-informed practices that aim to improve quality in patient care.
  2. Promote Island Health’s best quality initiatives in a manner that will enable others to learn and emulate the methods in order to spread quality and improve patient care.
  3. Strengthen patient-centered care, and develop strategies which aim to evolve Island Health to a more prospective and less reactive culture.

Have you ever wondered how you would promote and educate staff on continuous quality improvement? Have you ever had success with a quality improvement initiative, and wish that you could share it more broadly? Where would you go to learn more about continuous quality improvement, quality plans, metrics and standards, and the latest QI methodology?

Quality Rounds are intended to help with these questions. It is a platform to showcase and spread improvements, highlight how we are meeting organizational annual priorities, share leading practices, and findings from quality improvement initiatives.
