Please join me in welcoming Dr. Jennifer Jue to the Cardiology team at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
Dr. Jue is joining the Division of Cardiology and Island Health as a General Cardiologist and Echocardiographer. Dr. Jue was raised in Vancouver and has since travelled to many places for her education and training before returning to BC.
Dr. Jue’s undergraduate studies took her to Stanford University where she completed dual degrees in Biological Sciences and International Relations. Upon graduation, she worked in the Treasury Department at The Walt Disney Company in California before moving to Europe where she obtained her medical degree at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Jue completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic and Cardiology training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. With an interest in cardiac imaging, she then returned to Canada to pursue subspecialty training in Echocardiography at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
Dr. Jue is excited to join the Cardiology team in Nanaimo and when not around the hospital and clinic, she enjoys travelling, hiking and baking. She began her new role at NRGH on October 1, 2018.
