INVITATION: Staff & Medical Staff Town Hall

Join us for our next hybrid virtual and in-person Town Hall on Thursday, February ​ 8, from 2-3 PM. 

​The Staff & Medical Staff Town Hall is your opportunity to connect with leaders and hear questions from staff and medical staff at facilities around Island Health - as well as virtually. Session theme is Climate Change and Planetary Health, including a panel discussion with topic experts. 

Our next stop is at the Duncan Norcross building. Join Kathy MacNeil, CEO; James Hanson, VP Clinical Services, Acute Care North Island & Community Services; and Jamie Braman VP Communications & Partnerships. ​​Other senior leaders and attendees will join via Teams and questions can be submitted via Slido. 

At the Town Hall you will hear:

  • Organizational update 
  • Panel discussion: Climate change & planetary health with
    • Dr. Paivi Abernethy – Lead for ClimateChange & Health, Population & PublicHealth
    • Pierre Iachetti – Director of Energy, Environment & Climate Change
  • Recognition of individuals and teams
  • Answers to your question​​

​The first half of the meeting will be organizational updates, with the second half attempting to answer as many Slido and local questions as possible. 


Questions can now be submitted to​ using the event code IHTOWNHALL.​ Help us prioritize questions by 'liking' any questions that resonate with you. The Slido will remain open though to the end of the event.
