Dr. Alison Walzak, clinical skills site director, a clinical assistant professor of community internal medicine, and the clinical teaching unit director at Royal Jubilee Hospital, received the Clinical Faculty Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching.
Dr. Sam Stewart, a master teacher and the ambulatory discipline site leader, received the Clinical Faculty Award for Career Excellence in Clinical Teaching.
Dr. Michael Kenyon, clinical assistant professor, received the Clinical Faculty Award for Career Excellence in Clinical Teaching.
Dr. Donna Doyle, clinical educator in obstetrics, received the Clinical Faculty Award for Excellence in Community Practice Teaching.
Dr. Laura Arbour, professor in the department of medical genetics, received the Distinguished Achievement Award.
Dr. Samantha Stasiuk, faculty who has taught at the IMP or the Division of Medical Sciences, received the Teaching Award in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Jonathan Tang, clinical associate professor, received the Bruce Crawford Award of Excellence.
Dr. John Cooper, clinical associate professor, clerkship preceptor received the 2019 Vancouver Island Clerkship Preceptors Teaching Excellence Award.
Dr. Brad Williamson, resident, received the 2019 Resident Teaching Excellence Award.
