New Cases:

Island Health Vaccine Update:

  • Due to low vaccine supply last week, only modest increases were made in Phase 1 vaccination.
  • The B.C. Immunization Plan resumes this week with higher than expected deliveries of the Pfizer vaccine for both first and second doses. 
  • Focus this week: Second doses for LTC/AL; First-dose for med-surg; Planning for more than 30 immunization clinics in large and small communities across Island Health; Second-dose clinics are getting underway in rural and remote Indigenous communities.
