  Information below is for medical staff (Physicians, Midwives, Dentists and Nurse Practitioners).

Island Health provides testing for people who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, and individuals who are concerned they may have been exposed to COVID-19. We do not provide testing and documentation for travel purposes. Travel clinics and some private labs provide testing and necessary documentation for a fee. You can find a listing of sites here.

Symptomatic staff, affiliate staff, primary care and subspecialty providers and first responders who provide direct patient care can now call 1-833-737-9377 to access COVID-19 testing. Please use the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool(link is external) to help determine if further assessment or testing is needed.

COVID-19 rapid tests for people 18+ to be available at pharmacies

Starting Wednesday, March 23, 2022, rapid antigen test kits will be available to people aged 18 years and older through community pharmacies.
