As a successful applicant, you will be appointed a full-time position at the Nanaimo Orthopaedics clinic facility.

It will be required that you are available to see sports medicine patient referrals in the office.  You will be able to set up your practice, providing if you so wish, PRP injections, ultrasound-guided injections, etc.

You will be working in the same office area with several orthopedic surgeons, two nonsurgical part-time physicians [currently recruiting another full-time nonsurgical physician].

We receive approximately 100-120 referrals per week for surgical and nonsurgical intervention.  These referrals are triaged into a surgical and nonsurgical stream.  Direct referrals, will over time come your way .

There is opportunity to do surgical assist with the orthopedic surgeons at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Note that this position does not provide an opportunity for departmental medical staff privileges.

Nanaimo Orthopedics clinic location is on the same floor as the surgical booking office, hip and knee clinic, anaesthetic offices, and across the street from Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
