Shoreline Medical Brentwood Bay is team-based & integrated into the local Primary Care Network (PCN). Our doctors are involved in the Doctor-of-the Day program at Saanich Peninsula Hospital as well as Emergency Department, Palliative Care, Long Term Care & Surgical Assistance and any new physician has a wide opportunity to engage in any or none of these activities. Similarly, candidate participation in the Walk-in clinic or Youth clinic is discretionary. 

The position available is for a full-time Family Physician to take over an existing practice from a retiring physician. The joining physician would not be expected to onboard the full panel initially and may share the patients with another new physician joining the clinic. This would allow for a gradual building of each practice and give the new-to-practice physician time to learn the office protocol including the use of the electronic medical record system. Thus, the new physician would have time to gradually familiarize themselves with the local referral supports and specialists within the community.
