Valley Medical has an opportunity for a Family Physician to join a collegial group of 5 diverse family physicians and become an associate of a well-established, full-service family practice in recently renovated offices. 

Valley Medical is situated downtown in the heart of the City of Duncan, in the Cowichan Valley on British Columbia's Vancouver Island. You can create a practice to your liking, with two exam rooms, one of which can be converted to an office if you prefer. You will have access to a minor procedures room and registered nurse for support. There is a pharmacy next-door, dental offices upstairs, and lab a minutes walk away. 

There is the added opportunity to provide Hospital inpatient care, Long Term Care, Maternity Care and Doctor of the Day Program, all of which are optional and not essential.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, closed on weekends. You set your own hours with most doctors starting at 9 am.  

The associate group and staff at Valley Medical Clinic provide a very supportive environment for any new recruit.

Overhead: $8,500 - $9,000

Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
Flat fee: $4,834.80
Fee Premium: 4.20%
CME: $2,200/annum year 3-4 and $4,400 annum after 4 years in the community
