Now Available - Psychological Health and Safety Training Part Two
One of Island Health’s top priorities is to create a workplace culture of safety and wellness for staff, medical staff, students and volunteers. That’s why Island Health launched part one of the psychological health and safety training curriculum for staff, medical staff and leaders last fall.
Part two of this self-paced training curriculum is now available on LearningHub. The 90-minute module, Leading with Heart: Psychological Health & Safety in Practice, is open to all Island Health staff, medical staff and leaders. Part one of the training is a required pre-requisite and builds on the new Psychological Health and Safety policy.
Leaders play a vital role in supporting teams in psychological health and safety, by ensuring psychologically safe and inclusive environments. That’s why the two-part training is mandatory for non-contract leaders. Training is encouraged, but optional for people who are not in leadership roles.
Thank you to the many aspirational leaders who continue to take any required training for their career and professional advancement.
