SportChek Extending VIP Pricing to Island Health Staff

SportChek has teamed up with Island Health's Employee Perks Program to offer staff some great deals. From March 12 – 25, SportChek is extending VIP pricing to Island Health staff.

Here's How it Works:

When:
Thursday, March 12 – Wednesday, March 25, 2026

Where:

In store only at all Sport Chek locations. The offer is only available in-store and not available on sportchek.ca.

Instructions:

  • Starting March 12, you will be able to access your individualized and unique barcode from our Employee Perks Program Intranet Page. 
  • To access the link, you must log in using your Island Health credentials.
  • The code cannot be accessed from a cell phone (personal or work).​

  • To view and download the discount barcode, you must be connected to the Island Health network. Logging in with the authenticator is not enough—you need to be connected to Island Health internet or through a VPN.

    You can access the code in one of two ways:

    1. On-site: You must be on-site, using an Island Health computer that is connected directly to the Island Health internet.
    2. Remote: If your position is a remote position, and you work from home, you can connect to the Island Health network from your work computer using the VPN.​​
       
  • To redeem the offer, click the link to generate your unique barcode. You can print it or show it on your mobile device. Please ensure you have it with you in the store as cashiers will not be able to process transactions without it.
     

Offer Details:

  • The actual savings will vary by product.
  • Excludes select brands and styles.
  • Exchanges can only be completed betweenThursday March 12th to Wednesday March 25, 2026.
  • Exchanges require your uniquebarcode and original receipt to be processed.Product may be returned unused and at thediscounted price within 30 days of purchasewith original receipt.
  • Your VIP code can be used multiple times atall participating Sport Chek locations duringthe event dates up to the spend limit.
  • To inquire about a product price, pleasepresent your unique barcode to an in-storeadvisor along with the product(s) you wouldlike to know the VIP price for. Please refrainfrom discussing your VIP discounted priceswith others outside of your VIP group.​

Purchase Limits:

You can spend up to $4,000. The limit amount is based on the discounted transaction amount at the till – so if an item is priced at $59.99 and the discounted price is $29.99 – then it’s the $29.99 that would apply to your $4,000 limit. The offer can be used multiple times at all Sport Chek stores, up to the limit of $4,000 per barcode.
 

Accessing & Redeeming Your Code:

  • To access your code on the Employee Perks Program Intranet Page​, you will need to be connected to the Island Health Network. If you have a work from home job, you will be able to access the code using the VPN. Not all Island Health laptops have VPNs—If you have an on-site job, you will need to go into office and use an Island Health Computer that is connected to the Island Health Network to access your code. You must use a laptop or computer to redeem the code. Phones and tablets won't work when trying to redeem the offer.
  • To redeem the offer, click the link to generate your unique barcode. You can print it or show it on your mobile device. If you choose to show it on your mobile device, we strongly recommend you take a screen shot or picture of the barcode with your mobile device, to access it when you are visiting a SportChek location. Please ensure you have it with you in the store as cashiers will not be able to process transactions without it.

  • You can also access the link by visiting the Employee Perks Program Page on the Island Health Intranet.
  • Please do not call stores ahead of the promotion asking for pricing information or to put items on hold.
  • The discount only applies to in-store merchandise.
  • Payment must be made at the time of purchase.
  • The discount is for personal use only. It should not be used for purchasing items for third parties for profit, and transactions will be monitored to prevent abuse.
