What do I Need to Know

  • MED Eating Disorder Adult Admission order set is a Multiphase order set that aligns with best practice to help ensure correct inpatient management for medically complex patients admitted with eating disorders. The aim is medical stabilization only.
  • It is intended for use in adult patients only and should not be used in patients under the age of 17.
  • The Eating Disorder Adult order set is available:
    • For non-CPOE activated sites: Via the Island Health Paper Order Sets library (in the Medicine folder).
    • For CPOE-activated sites (e.g. RJH, VGH, NRGH, CDH): Already available in Cerner PowerChart.
