Are you looking for a great work life balance? Look no further than the Comox Valley, with endless recreational and professional opportunities you can carve out the career and personal life you have always envisioned.
Established practice of 30 + years. I currently work 3 full days, but there is flexibility to work up to 5 days per week. We do a mixture of in-person and telehealth, with the ratio being approximately 80/20. My Active panel is approximately 1000 patients with a very nice mixture of families with young children, to adults, and the elderly. I no longer provide in-patient care at Comox Valley Hospital, or Long Term Care, but there is the opportunity to do both if desired.
Very collegial work environment with 10 Family Physicians. We teach Resident Physicians through the Strathcona Residency Programme. We are part of the Primary Care Network with our social worker Susanna on staff. We have a monthly continuing medical education group which the incoming physician would be welcome to join.
For fun we have a team in the annual snow to surf race, a softball team, and have had a curling team, we occasionally go out for dinner, and have fun at trivia nights.
