The UBC Sauder School of Business Physician Leadership Program (PLP) was created to build capacity for leading change in health care in BC. The program targets physicians who are taking on senior leadership roles in their health authority, and aims to help develop the leadership skills they need to effectively engage in the planning, delivery and transformation of BC’s health care system.
Cohort 18* dates & location:
The course modules will take place virtually and in person.
Module 1: September 22, 23 & 24, 2022 (In-person)
Module 2: October 20, 21 & 22, 2022 (Virtual)
Module 3: November 17, 18 & 19, 2022 (Virtual)
Module 4: March 10, 2023 (Virtual) (Final presentations and graduation)
Tuition and expenses are covered for practicing physicians provided they complete the program as part of the SSC scholarship funding (http://sscbc.ca/physician-engagement/leadership-training-scholarship).
The program additionally provides Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
