Dr. Nell choose anesthesia as he found it a fascinating field of medicine where physics, pharmacology and acute clinical medicine coalesce.
The most meaningful aspect of practicing medicine for Dr. Nell is the personal relationship with people and the ability to use his training and relationships with to make a difference in peoples lives often in times of stress. Dr. Nell feels it is a honour and great privilege to help patients as they undergo lifesaving or life changing procedures or events.

Dr. Nell’s hope for the future of medicine is that the system will allow doctors to provide personal care to the best of what modern medicine can offer while able to address patients personal needs in a compassionate but rational way.
In his spare time you will find Dr. Nell keeping very busy; he is an elder at his church and an avid outdoorsman, flying often into wilderness settings, hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking.
