Dr. Paul Winston of the Victoria Peripheral Nerve and Spasticity Clinic has been recognized with The Medical Post "Innovative Practice Award" for revolutionizing spasticity care through groundbreaking cryoneurolysis treatment.
The Medical Post Awards support national independent physician voices, contributions to community, and practice innovation, with winners selected by a jury of their peers.
As the leader behind the Clinic, Dr. Winston has pioneered a minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedure that has set a new global standard for care.
“We treat people with disabilities who have been told there's nothing more that can be done. One patient, a 45-year-old with cerebral palsy, used a communication board to tell us they had eaten a french fry for the first time—something they'd never been able to do before," he shared.
