New Supplier for Island Heath’s Home Oxygen Program
Effective January 1, 2025, Island Health will change respiratory equipment suppliers for its Home Oxygen Program (HOP).
Applications for HOP from acute care clients will be referred to MedPro Respiratory Care. Applications for HOP from community clients will be referred to Respiratory Homecare Solutions (subcontractor for VitalAire). Communication to clients being transitioned will be circulated in the coming weeks.
The change in suppliers will not impact a client’s HOP coverage. You can read more about the HOP program on islandhealth.ca.ca/hop.
