May 24 and 25, lab changes in orders and order sets were implemented in the EHR. Medical staff at fully-activated sites may notice that some favourites, whether they were single orders or order sets, will no longer be available for use.
This week, the regionally harmonized order sets will start to be introduced into the system. The first order sets to be released are likely to be the surgery, procedural and anaesthesiology order sets, on May 29, 2024.
To view which order sets have undergone name changes, content changes, or been retired please refer to the IHealth Project Web site link: Changes to Order Sets - IHealth (islandhealth.ca). The changes are sorted in alphabetical order by specialty. This guide has been designed to help you to look for the new order sets that you wish to favourite. Please note, you will not see in this reference material, the actual clinical content.
