The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Division of Endocrine & Metabolism is seeking a full time Endocrinologist based in Victoria.
The successful candidate will possess clinical strength in diabetes, including diabetes in pregnancy, or in osteoporosis. Additional knowledge and expertise in clinical trials and medical education will be considered an asset, as will excellent interpersonal/communication skills and ability to function as part of the endocrine division.
You will establish your own private office and provide out-patient consultation services for a variety of endocrine problems. Join a team of collegial Endocrinologists participating in our 1:4-1:5 on-call group providing in-patient endocrine care and consultation at two general hospitals (Royal Jubilee and Victoria General).
The University of Victoria Island Medical Program is affiliated with the UBC Medical School which allows for teaching opportunities. The Division provides services to a 350,000 direct referral population and a tertiary referral population of 750,000.
