Port McNeill Public Health on the move

Effective Monday, April 3, 2023, residents of Port McNeill and surrounding communities can visit the public health team at its new location - A’ekakila’as Primary Care Centre at 2161 McNeill Road​ - for a wide range of health supports such as prenatal, postpartum and newborn care, breastfeeding support, immunization clinics, contraceptive support and STI testing. 

The public health team also offers baby immunization appointments all day on Wednesdays by appointment and youth immunization clinics on Thursdays between 3-4 pm.

Co-locating public health nurses at the A’ekakila’as Primary Care Clinic will add to the team already offering culturally safe primary care for the entire family, such as family physicians, social worker and midwives.
