The Primary Care Strategy team is excited to share news about changes on their team.
Shaun Lorhan, Director of Primary Care Strategy (PCS), has accepted a position with Victoria Hospice as Director of Education and Research effective Sept 12, 2022. Shaun has been instrumental in the development of our primary care strategy and the growth and leadership of our team, and we sincerely wish her the best in her new role.
Our current Project Directors are all transitioning to new job descriptions which will better align to the work they lead. Our Strategy Directors will report to the Executive Director, and act as the point person for their respective areas; they interpret and translate the Primary Care transformation policies from the Ministry of Health into organizational guidance and strategies that achieve high-quality, accessible primary care for our communities.
We welcome, Sarah Gustin who joined us on August 22nd as our newest Strategy Director. Areas of accountability and focus include:
- Sarah Gustin, Strategy Director, Primary Care Networks (PCN) Centre/North and Priority Populations
- Ryan Forsyth, Strategy Director, PCNs South and Processes with Corporate Partners
- Collette Christney, Strategy Director, Urgent and Primary Care Centres and Enabling Technologies
- Sherry Gill, Strategy Director, Quality, Practice & Standards – with a focus on quality, operational standards, clinical practice support and reporting.
Additional new team members include, Mara Pungente who joins us on Sept 22nd and will lead our Clinical Support Team as Manager, Practice Support & Education. In addition, Liane Wilkinson joins us on September 26th as a Program Development Consultant, filling in for Britt Devlin's maternity leave.
